Want a chance to judge the judges?

Hello everyone.

Have you ever wanted to see how well the judges can really sing? Do you wish you could give them what they've been giving to the contestants? Ever wondered if they can take what they dish out? On the final Tuesday night airing of Zone BBS Icon 2006, at least one of you will have the opportunity to do just that!

Zone Icon is going to have a special segment where the judges will be singing for the audience. Three members from the Zone will then have an opportunity to critique these performances! Good or bad; cracks or wavers; from excessive breathing to inconsistent pitches, you'll be able to denounce them all!

If you think you'd be interested in being a special guest judge on Zone Icon, please consider the following:

sounds like a great idea, as I have listened to some of the show and listened to the judges, I've wondered if they themselves could sing. I highly doubt it for the most part, but I'm interested.

Hey staff, it's Jessica. I'd love to be a judge, I have always wanted to be a judge from the beginning of this thing, and I would like to hear just how well they can sing and critique them in their perspective styles. As yall know I have been singing for almost 12 years or so, so I think I have some idea of pitch, cracks, breathing techniques, etc. I will be available on saturdays if needed, think I have a good sense of humor. Last, but certainly not least, I believe I have a good delivery and presence, and think I could make my point as clearly and succinct as possible.
I greatly hope to be one of these guest judges.
Thanks icon staff, for this wonderful opportunity.
Jessica

I should be a judge. I may not know a tun about music but I am witty, and can present my self in a eliquent manner. Besides if I am on the show you know people will tune in to see what crap I say for entertainment value. I am available at the recording times as well since it's after finals.

Ok, I'll throw my hat in the ring. Someone said right at the beginning that both myself and Josh would make good judges. Probably because we're brutally honest when we need to be. Well, I don't have a huge musical background, I don't sing, I don't play an instrument, but I can listen, and I can bullshit the way the judges have done so far. And maybe people might just tune into listen to me also. If not stuff 'em, I don't care. let me do it anyway. lol Oh, and I'm always awake, so can make the times regardless of location.

Hey icon staff I would like to judge. I have been exposed to music for five years. Although I don't have perfect pitch or play any instruments, I think I know enough to where I can disern weather or not someone is doing a good job or making a full. I am available on saturdays, but my question is: where do you go to record? I hope you consider my request. Yours truly CC

• Can you be available on Saturdays, at the designated recording times of 3 PM (15:00) and 9 PM (21:00) EST?

Any Saturdays specifically? My sporadic weekend requirements need to know.

----------
yes to all the others. A word about four:
I have perfect pitch and am in the final stages of completing my third semester in music theory. While I don't sing, I feel I possess the knowledge to deliver comments germane to each situation.

I would also be interested. i have a lot of musical knowledge. and perfect. I was in all state choir here in 2004 and loved it. I don't think i'm as gay as aaron, but it would be fun. Even if you don't pick me, this is a great idea.

I think I would make an excellent judge for this contest. I am currently a voice major at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, and I am a graduate of The Eastman Community Music School, of the Eastman School of Music. I am a two year alumna of the New York State Summer School of the Arts Choral Studies Program and I have participated in several festivals and competitions for the New York State School Music Association. I am also a member of the American Choral Directors' Association. I am a vocalist, play four instruments and have toured Europe with American Music Abroad's Honors Choir. I am currently a member of Crane Chorus and Phoenix Club, and have participated in the Eastman Youth Chamber Singers and the Eastman Youth Gamelan in the past. I think I can give an objective,, educated, fare and unbiased review of others' vocal talents. I am an avid fan of Opera, Broadway, Rock, Pop, Country, Jazz and Newage. This should allow me to have enough knolege of most genres to be able to judge an eclectic mix of music choices. I feel that due to my qualifications, my dry and witty sense of humor and my aptitude at public speaking that I would be ideal for this position.

If i don't make the vote I think Jared would be fun, and maybe Krystal, but not even speaking as Heather's friend and being objective... she would be a good choice. She has allot of musical knoledge and doesn't really get in to any drama and would be unbuyest and honest. This is the same girl who told me when I was twelve that if my voice was any more brass I'd be a trumpet. She has actually helped me develop my voice occationally during the summers when I didn't have voice instruction and could not afford private lessons. She is always ready with pozative critasisms.

Aw. Me wuvs you Candice. Thanks. If I get on too many of your nerves with my non-music related opinions and you wouldn't even consider voting for me then vote for Candi. She's got good musical instincts.
